Wrangler duratrac for DD WJ

Looking for a bit more aggressive look and some off-road but will be used as my DD. Any reviews on road manners, looks and noise level? Or better suggestions? Looking to possibly go with a 245/75 or 70 /17 on a 2" BB lift.

Thanks.

It's a great tire! Pretty quiet and handles the road amazingly. Had these on my stepdads Nissan Xterra for a long time and he loved them on and off road

I have Duratracs. They are really nice on the road, and not extremely loud, although you will hear them. I have about 23,000 miles on them, & the treads are still really good.

I have about 8k on a set of 265 70/17s and can't be any more satisfied. Awesome traction in Minnesota winter, great handling otherwise and just enough road noise to let you know you've got some meat🤘

Those 265 70/17s ( about a 31.6" tire) are they on a 2" lift? Any rubbing and do you have any photos you can share.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Nope, no rubbing whatsoever. I have a 2012 JKU sport with 19/59 springs and rubicon shocks. Sorry I can't show you what it would look like with a lift, these are the best pics I have. I absolutely love Duratracs. I had 315/70/17 on my WK and couldn't have been happier. I will be buying them again for the JKU. They are fantastic in snow and sand. Not as loud as the MTR's on pavement and not as heavy as others similar tires.

I've got the 285's I love them, I barely hear them at 65+ on the highway in my DD w/a soft top. When they wear out I will be getting another set most definitely.

This is my Jeep daily driver just getting some work done. Replaced my 2" BB lift with 2.5" coils, Fox 2.0 shocks, steering stabilizer, new BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires and 1.25 wheel spacers. Looking like a fun ride now. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1468458020.178988.jpg

Really great tire, had a set of 265/75/16's on my (tacoma- before we went all jeep) and have a set of 285's on my wife's JK. great in snow and downpours too. Getting a little loud but we've put a bunch of miles on them.

I have run 33" Duratracs on my TJ for about a year and a half now and I have no complaints. They have been great on road and in the snow, also I have been off road a few times and they perform flawlessly. I would highly recommend them!

I love my Duratracs! They handle everything you can throw at them very well. They have great road manners and handle wet weather great due to the amount of siping on the tread blocks.

They're sure footed in winter on snow and handle ice as well. They come pre bored for studs if you need that option for extra winter traction.

They handle mud no problem.

They didn't let me down at Windrock this summer.

Overall they are a great all around tire.

Great tire. I have them on my 2012. Not a dd. But I do drive some long distances to wheel. I have about 40,000 miles on mine. Still great tread. They climb rocks pretty well.

Don't listen to this guy, he has no idea what he is talking about. They suck in all conditions, but really, only on his jeep. It's mainly because of the slow guy behind the wheel :cheesy:

In all seriousness it is a great tire and it looks good too! If a 37 was offered I would debate running it as well

Have you looked at the Nitto Ridge Grappler?

Disregard my other posts. He's right. I'm only a web wheeler. And a slow one at that. He hat to type slow because he knows I can't read that fast.
