Cooper STT Pro vs Toyo vs Nitto

I did. Used that measurement to adjust the speedometer and then verified with GPS that it was displaying the correct speed. Now I'm going to have to go out and check again. Have several thousand miles on them now, but I'll go take a look. Maybe it's the fact that I've got the 12.50's squeezed onto the stock rim?

So, post up a pic like the one below. Make sure it's aired up to 30 PSI and with the full weight of your Jeep on it, use a tape measure to measure to the edge of the tire's shoulder (NOT the highest point on the tread). In fact, add it to the database thread.

Ok got home and took a pic.
No flats or bead pops so far. 12-18psi stock Rubicon rims and Toyo MT. You can see the rocks have damaged the lugs but the side wall tread is in great shape. Hard to believe because some of the jagged slate creek bed walls I run are skinnier than the outside width of the tires. I'm a firm believer in the Toyo side wall strength but I may not push the limits like others do.

After reading all this I am even more confused! Lol. I was recommended the nittos for my first pair of 37s from a shop. I was leaning more to the newish falken wildpeaks. But now seems like I should get the cooper sst might be the way to go[emoji15]

I have the MT ATZ P3s on my rig and have almost 50k miles on them. They are, for the most part, quite on the road and do well in the rain. I have had no issues hooking up on the rocks and usually air down to 18 lbs when on the trails.

By far the best AT tire that I have had in quite some time. I will def be getting them again.

I started this thread. I like these Coopers. My buddy does great with his Toyos and I think the Coopers hook up nicely. So far they are doing well in Moab.

The black Jeep is me with the Coopers and the Silver Jeep is my buddy with the Toyos. This is yesterday and today in MOAB.

The silver JK is on 35" Toyos
The black JK is me on 35"

Both Jeeps' tires are at 10 psi.

Here is a comparison video:

I have run BFG ATs in the past. They are very good on most terrain, and great on snowy streets, but lousy in anything muddy. Never tried them in rocks. I have also run Toyo Open Country MTs before and know they have a tough sidewall. They will be my next set again.

Video link updated. I think it shows that both the Toyos and the Coopers do nice on the slickrock. It seems like the Toyos grip a little better maybe?
