Holy cow, I just saw some of these pics and wanted to make sure that our friends from the land down under are doing okay.

Wildfires Ravage Australia
Record temperatures across southern Australia cooled at the end of the week, reducing the danger from scores of raging wildfires but likely bringing only a brief reprieve from the summer's extreme heat and fire risk.

Wow that's nuts.... Hopefully everyone stays safe, and they get fires under control soon.

Cooler conditions today, so they're trying to get on top of them before the temp goes back up into the 40's by next weekend. In the town of Birdsville yesterday, the temp hit 50c. The tar roads melted.
