Interesting. It is amazing the things that happen in other countries. I remember seeing four door toyota pickups and asking why we couldnt have those in the US.

Ha! X's 2. I saw Hilux 4-doors all over Chile in the late 90's and couldn't figure out why the US didn't have them.

Too funny Sharkey. I saw mine in Panama in the mid 90s.

I was driving my 83 2 door Toyota at the time back in Oklahoma. I got the Toyota because it $1500 cheaper than the 84 CJ8 Laredo Scrambler I wanted and I couldnt come up with extra money when I bought it as a poor college student. NOW: Toyota worth very little, CJ8 maybe $20k. :grayno:

I did get the CJ7 in a straight trade for the Toyota about that time.
