I purchased the Tuffy overhead CB security box for my 2011 because I was wondering where in the world to mount my CB. I looked everywhere (it seems) and finally found a used Tuffy Security Box for sale. The folks at Tuffy box are wonderfully helpful and I ended up purchasing the CCW security box for below the driver's seat as well.
The CB is now in the perfect location to use, it locks up for when my doors are off or my top (the Jeep) is off - great product - BUT by installing it you will not be able to add a Sport Cage addition later.
I chose the Tuffy Box for the convenience and the ease of installation.

this is what we're running in our new dozer JK too. i like it a lot and the install was easy enough too. if we ever get a cage, i'll just remount it there like we have on our other JK's.

    Versa Mount II

Just installed the mount to hold this little Cobra 75 WX ST Remote Mount CB. Take a look at the pictures. Super simple install; two bolts and that's about it. I did my own little modifications to it (basically just drill out a top center hole to keep the clip from bending with wear); had to make a run to Ace Hardware.

I got this thing from http://www.cooltechllc.com/jeep/jk_versamount2.shtml

Thanks to Zaskar for pointing me in the right direction. Great find!!

Cool. I might do the additional bolt as well. I installed my gate mount for the antenna, ran the coax, and installed this mount last night. Just need to install and wire up the base unit for the Cobra 75 WX ST. I have to say cooltech was super fast in their processing/shipping. I think I ordered Tuesday and it arrived yesterday.
