Howdy,

Had a great trip north with my wife this past weekend. Toured the Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Leelanau Peninsula areas. Had some rain on the way up but, overall couldn't have asked for better. Especially early October in northern Michigan.

As colors start to change, it reinforces the Jeep wayalife. It's about the places it takes you, things you get to see, fun you get to have.

Many have heard of M-119's Tunnel of Trees. Well, we certainly found another tunnel of trees...lodgepole pines.

What can be very hard to appreciate though, is the scale of Sleeping Bear Dunes. The National Park is something to behold. The spec's are people. The elevation drop is a tad over 400'. There's another 100+' in elevation above the point where I took the photo, behind me.

The hi-res version of the Dunes is 140MB; fun when you can zoom in on a dot and see the person ;).

Cheers!
