Need Help with XJ Steering Column

89xj 2 door , my tilt steering collasped! I have the steering wheel/combination switch out but for some reason can't get the housing off! I need to replace the bottom bearing!! The Hayes manual doesn't cover the bottom bearing replacement!! Help, I know it's simple!
