Gear ratio with L94, 6l80e and 40s

It's your call but with a super deep OD like 6l80 has I'd run 5.38s all day. 5.13s at least.

Unless u got an atlas your likely running a 2.72 case so deeper gears in low range would be nice even with lower 1st in the 6l80e. Holding 2k rpm in a brick at 70mph with heavy 40s even with v8 power may cause u dropping into 5th. Just my 2c

It's what we're running. L94, 6L80, Atlas 2-speed and 5:38 gears. But then, wheeling is more important to us than track time on the 1320.

I'm running a LS 6.0 and 6l80 with 4.88's and it's just about perfect. Great on road at 70 mph it's runs at 1950-2000 rpm holding 6th gear and has plenty low end off road. Haven't ever felt like I needed lower gearing
