So I began some of the work on a recessed mount. After taking some measurements and discovering my homemade bumper might be a very tight fit, I decided to cut away the top section of the bumper (off the Jeep of course).
I am very concerned the Zeon will not fit between the back of the front bumper plate and the grill. The very front plate of my bumper is flush with the end of the frame rails. It looks like most aftermarket bumpers with recessed winch mounts are built out and away from the frame rails some. At least that's what it looks like.
First things first though, to truly measure and know for sure, I need to get the vac pump moved. I'll take suggestions. I see some come with extra wiring. It looks like some, like RH4x4, just rotate the pump. The ones that rotate it concern me that it will still be in my way.
I realize because of my one off bumper no one can likely give me 100% suggestions. But, thanks again in advance! [emoji106]

Looks like I'm good for that 100+ mph bombing through the desert!! Woo-hoo!!! Notice my strategically mounted front plate/deflector push-down wing? Keeps my front end from lifting off the ground at 103mph and up! [emoji6]
