Smokers, grills, and the B-B-Qs

I am no expert, but my next door neighbor has a competition BBQ team and he only cleans the grates with a fresh onion.

Typically the way it's done in all the food industry. Keeps it from losing flavor or getting burrs from brushes on the grates.

If your grill is seasoned properly it really won't need more than a paper towel to clean.

Nice. I did this one last week but never got a post cook picture. Too hungry. I just got the igrill as well. Pretty sweet device. I have the one that can read 4 probes so I can do a couple meats and have an ambient probe.

I bought the mini only cause they had it at lowes when I was there. I would imagine I will buy the bigger one also when I get a bigger smoker.
