How to measure for rear sway bar links?

Now that I have 4" of lift in the back- how do I measure for longer rear links? Is the sway bar supposed to be horizontal at rest?

From what I understand you want it fairly level I'm netting about 3.5 on my lift my links center to center are about 10 3/4

Cool, so it looks like 12.5" for me. That's exactly 4" taller than stock.

level to slightly up, droop the axle to make sure the sway bar links do not flip forward

I had a repair manual page that showed +/- 10* but found that level to slightly up was best due when droop checked.

Seems all lifts are different enough that a droop test will helps.
