Tire calibration

Not for me. Best way for calibration (shift points) IMO is chalk method. I measured and got 35.5 on my Nittos 37/17/12.50. That made my gears hang and shifting on my auto was horrible and speedometer was 2 mph off. Used chalk and it came out to 35 1/4. Now shifting is smooth and speedometer is perfect. I didn't think a 1/4 inch was a big deal but now I do. Just my 2 cents and I got the chalk method from these forums.

Jeeeep is correct. I was thinking you were trying to determine your size just to know the height. For a tuner or speedo calibration, do what jeeeep said.

I measured from the ground to the top of the outside lug and mine was spot on. Well within a 1 mph anyway. Against my gps the speedometer reads 1mph fast and before with the stock tires it was 1mph slow.
