Hi, I understand there's plenty of topics on this subject already but I keep hearing conflicting information.
I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK Sport. It's completely stock, no lift. I'm purchasing Firestone Destination A/T tires. 285/70R/17. I was told these should be fine without a lift.
The problem I'm running into is the wheels. I search for 17s but I'm not sure what else is involved with the size. I called a local dealership that specializes in custom Jeeps, talked to tech support on TireRack.com and read multiple forum posts. Some told me I need a negative offset, others a positive and others a zero offset.
I'm looking to spend no more that $120 on each wheel. Would anyone have any recommendations on what to get?
Thanks in advance.
