Front tie rod

My tie rod has a lot of up and down travel when you twist it with you hand. After bending the OEM on a rock, I upgraded it 9 months ago with a teraflex HD tie rod. I don't remember it moving like this when I put it in, so I know something has changed or worn. Is this normal or am I looking at a a failure of the end joints. I have a video of it, but I can't figure out how to add it to the post.

Rotational movement is totally normal with a tie-rod end. Shifting up and down or side to side is a sign of a worn out joint.

Up and down and side to side are tight. Just rotational as you twist the tie rod. So it sounds like it is good. Thanks Eddie for the quick response!!
