I had some free time over this last summer to do a little exploring. I found out there was a way to the top of Peak 8 at Breckenridge.

I can't remember but I think it was late September. There was a dusting of snow the night before at elevation. Top of Peak 8 is 13,000 ish feet from what I remember. The next day I hit a storm on a different mountain. I'll see if I can find those pics and add them here.

Theres snow on the ground most of the year at those elevations haha. Hiked a 14ner in August and had a snowball fight at the top. Its Colorado. :cheesy:

We re-named Radical Hill to Not-so-Radical Hill. It's a good drive but not that bad. It really isn't that tippy honestly. I thought Red Cone was a much more tippy technical trail then Radical hill IMHO. It is still a fun area and trail.

This is looking down Radical Hill from close to the start. Great trails for sure!

Oh boy, Red Cone Pass is a trail best done when it's dry. Here it is nicely done in light snow and rain. The longer wheelbase of the JKU provides a little extra comfort but you gotta be ready to add some skinny pedal if the rear decides to lead. Most of the time it's a non-event, but every once in awhile...

Red Cone I found wasn't so bad at all, I may just have to go and do Websters Pass and Red Cone and Radical hill all again sometime.
