you mean an spod? no, i don't care for companies who sign up on forums pretending to be a regular joe just to pimp their products and then when they get caught red handed, LIE about it. of course, if you don't care about things like honesty and integrity, who am i to stand in your way :naw:

to answer your question, yes, the tuffy overhead console will clear it.

eee yup, thats the one... and thanks

:cheesy: Mike was being sarcastic

Gotcha. Yeah I'm interested in the tuffy overhead but I gotta fig out my current CB feedback issues I had this summer.
Even with an isolated handheld CB not attracted to anything on my JK was getting security dash lights
I though maybe the FOB transmitter/receiver was acting up but I removed the key fob battery and still did the same thing

Is the rock hardcage not a good item? I just started looking at roll cages for my 2dr and that's the first one I seen,,,

Yeah, sorry snopro. As Eddie said, it was just sarcasm that might not have come across as such on line. Rockhard makes a great product! I have one in my JK.

Ok yeah I have A fellow Jeeper that attended an annual Jeeping in Deadwood I started two years ago and I saw he had one painted matched. He gave me a great price this week on one and was thinking I might take him up on it

Suggestions on how to mount the uniden bearcat 980 in the overhead console? I don't see any places to mount the radio.

Any suggestions would be helpful. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1430092815.180260.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1430092854.448915.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1430092879.656265.jpg

I don't think I can get a wrench and bolt to go through mounting bracket space is too tight. 😔

Are you using normal hex head bolts to mount the bracket? If so, you maybe able to pick up some lower profile bolts or pan-head screws that will give you the clearance you need.

Just a thought, though you may have already tried this...
