So...bring this one back to life. I used the wrong type of paint when I did my SCX-10 Comanche. It came out exactly like I wanted it but first trip in the woods and the paint started to pop off. I am in the process of stripping the paint and startling again.Any one else screw up like this on their first mini build?

OK stupid question did you paint the inside or outside?

If it's a clear body always paint inside. They have this paste stuff that you can coat the insides with and cut and peel areas away you want to paint first like windows being black.

Painted the inside... But I didn't use the paint for polycarbonate. I kinda' over killed it though. 5 coats of red and 3 of flat black sure did look nice until the paint started to separate from the plastic. Day two of stripping the paint... $40 and I could get a new one but I just can't let go....

I built a Vaterra Twin Hammer and a stretched JK over the summer...

But I'm losing interest in R/C because of my real Jeep...

My son and I mess around with with R/C stuff. We have a couple of Traxxas trophy trucks that we bash around with and I even went as far as building a track in the yard for us and his buddies.
I picked up an already modified used Axial Scorpion we've had a blast with on a homemade rock course then about a month ago bought a used SCX 10 off ebay which my son and daughter have been having a blast with (she loves offroading and questions me if I went wheeling without her if our JKU is muddy😃). It's a great hobby and distraction that a family could have between wheeling trips and every day life.

Back from the grave yard

Rock Crawlers, trail trucks, mall crawlers, and a Big Rig or 2, etc... These are all mine. These are most of my RC's, but there are lots more.

Most are scratch built, a few are actual kits. I make my own bodies sometimes.

Those are pretty cool. The dude in the 70's Blazer (without the top) looks like he is getting road head. Lol.
