The Blank Canvas

Installed some EVO Rocker armor today. Had a lot of fun and a bit of frustration. Only spun three nutserts.

I used a 5/16 pilot hole drill bit which fits in the countersunk holes nicely.

Then prior to installing the armor I used AvDec panel tape that will seal the the armor to the sheet metal.

Looks good Will. Congrats.

Thanks

Smart move with the avdeck tape. Great idea. Looks good.

I met the AvDec rep about three months ago and was able to order some of their product just for this purpose. I like the way it went on.

Nice work Will ! ........Looking good :thumb:

Woody I am looking forward to the day when we get to see your beast rolling through Texas. :thumb:

Nice work Will. 3 spun serts isnt bad at all. You have to drill em out?

Well I used a die grinder to remove the inner lining of the insert then pushed them in and reinserted a new Nutsert. One I had to cut the head of the screw off because it was not going to come off with a lot of damage to the body.

Didn't know you did a gear swap. Might need you to take me on a ride cause I'm going back and forth between 4.88 and 5.13s.

After things dry out we need to head to Bridgeport for some wheeling again.
