Last Saturday, the awesome crew at Trail Jeeps lead a trail run over Shrine Pass and McAllister Gulch in Vail, CO. I didn't snag too many pictures, but it was great to meet them and other Jeepers in Colorado. Plus it was great to spend a day in the Jeep out on the trails.

Snowed in the high country today! It's not the first time it's happened this early but isn't really common. The mountain far off in the distance with fresh snow on it is Longs Peak. The summit is around 14,200 ft. Late August is the ideal time to climb this mountain, so I hope the snow doesn't cause any danger to climbers. It already is a very dangerous mountain to climb. I took the Fall River Road up to around 12,000 ft today and got some great nature shots. Along with the snow, I saw a bull moose (sorry about crappy pics, he was far away and I had a crappy camera today) and some beautiful mountains. Any of you that live in or near Colorado, definitely do Fall River Rd. It's easy and scenic.

Awesome pics! We just got home late last night from Colorado, we had fairly heavy snow about 1/4 of the way up Mosquito Pass on Wednesday and there was a lot of fresh snow up top from the previous weekend.

I attended the 2016 Wayalife End of Summer WindRock Run (great job Trevor) with my wife. It was an awesome time. Met a lot of great people and used my TJ for what it was designed for. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1472442552.585463.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1472442628.963021.jpg

The last day we went to the Bodie Ghost town and ended the run at night after running over to the little known mining ghost town called Masonic. Not a lot to see there but it was our first night run.
