I don't go near uwharrie during the jamboree's way to many people on to few trails

For me at least, these types of events are more about the people and the hobby than it is about the trails.

I still haven't been to uwharrie yet but am interested. Should I go to this or just go down there on my own? I'm a newb.

Never go on your own! Have someone that's been out there before. If I was in your shoes, I would go and meet up with some of the other WAL folks that are going and enjoy yourself.

I'll probably head down. Doubt I'll hit any trails if its crazy busy, probably just hand around and look at rigs and check out the vendors.
