1941 Willy’s Slat Grill

Fixed the broken lines today and changed out the diff fluid, it looks decent. Old but no chunks of metal.

these brake Q’s from crown don’t fit for anything, I would have been better off making my own.

It’ll stop pretty decent, for something on drum brakes, it helps the top speed is about 40-45 mph.,

I have some brake issues half sorted out, if stops enough to take it for a spin.

I ended up having to put a fuel regulator on it. I’m hoping a more expensive fuel pump period correct the pressure. Anyways !! It runs great !

A little different than my other jeeps, but lots of fun !!

You’re flyin in that thing! Hell yea.

As much as I love this thing already, it rattles more than my cop car back in the day.

So I installed grill welt, there’s a special tool that you can buy to install split rivets and it’s not cheap. So I made one, and quickly realized what a piece of shit it was. It’s far easier just to split the rivet with a flat blade and use a pliers.

This didn’t solve all the rattles but the hood isn’t squeaky any more.

Don't you love when you have a great idea for a tool or something and get excited only to be disappointed when its a total failure...haha.

It took my like an hour to make, and it was only about 30 minutes to install it with a screw driver and pliers…

A C-clamp and a socket have helped me out more than they were ever designed for. Popped the pressed bolts out of leaf spring shackles last weekend...haha

I was on vacation for the last week and some parts showed up while I was gone. I decide to replacing the windshield rubber, the old one is shrunk and it causing the Windshield to slam off the tub from wind.

I’m trying to decide if I should color match the black rubber to blend it in.

I also put on authentic windshield blocks, and mixed some colors to get it to match the faded paint, the OD green is a bit dark.
