A new journey begins.....

I'm using this thread to document my journey with the new Jeep, and wow, how good it felt to be back in a Jeep again. I was driving home last night with the biggest smile on my face, and was a little shocked at myself. I typically dont get this excited about cars.

I'd definitely do plenty of wheeling with it in stock form which will get you 99% of the places you want to go anyway - and the upgrades will make themselves apparent to you as you need them. The diesel is definitely a different ride and one that does feel more planted, at least in my opinion anyway out of the few I've driven. I'd start with recovery gear like you just mentioned, and go from there.
