4WD Indicator dash light

Has anyone dealt with the 4WD indicator light not coming on thus rendering the hill descent button useless. If it’s a fuse, which one is it?

The fuse legend is on the underside of the fuse box lid. Right under the hood right behind your battery.

Thx. The dash lights work with the exception of the 4WD indicator light.

The light is just an indicator. It seems most likely that the issue is with the switch/sensor which detects the transfer case position. If you have a warranty then the dealer should address this for you.

Does it say 2hi?
If it says 2hi, does it just stay in 2 hi when you shift through the other modes?

I’m willing to bet your transfer case position sensor has gone bad or came loose. It’s positioned on top of the tcase and you can reach it without removing anything. Reach up there and see if it backed out.

Or the wire is either unplugged, not fully seated in the plug, or it's broken.
