Don’t complete the recall? No registration for you!

Just found out that I can’t register my JLUR because there’s an emissions based recall on it. There’s no notice whatsoever on my renewal notice so per usual, I wait until the very last day before giving this crooked state any more money than I have to. In this case I owe $471, but hell, at least it’s under $500 this year. Repeated attempts to pay fail, online, phone robot, then a call to a real person.

Going to try mailing it so at least I won’t get a late fee. Bastards!!!
 
Well this may affect me so I better look into it soon because my registration is due next month. Like you I wait until the last minute to pay it. Wish mine was as cheap as yours I think we're still paying over $600

damn, I was bitching about mine with custom tags including the additional tax "safety inspection" costing $150 this year...
I'll stop bitching about mine and be thankful lol
 
Sorry to hear that man! My JK will be eligible for a permanent sticker in just a couple years.. it will probably cost $200 but will never have to re-register again! My gladiator on the other hand is up for renewal and costs $400
