Got a new trailer.

I finally pulled the trigger on a trailer. It's a B/R 18', 82' wide, 10k GVWR dove tail. The fenders are too narrow and non removeable so I plan to stack up some 2x10s as a ramps to get up and over.

It's the 5.3. To be honest it's the first V8 I have owned so I can't complain about the power.

The ramps are built. I think I'm going to add some steel mesh to them for added traction and I still need to bolt them down some how.

Thanks, I originally wanted to make the ramps longer and less steep but damn treated 2x12s are expensive these days!
These ramps are just temporary anyway. I want to make the factory fenders removable but that's a bigger project so it will have to wait.

Did a couple more projects to the trailer today.
I Installed Bearing Buddies. I won't pull a trailer without them. I added some steel mesh to the ramps just incase they get wet and sloppy. I got half way done spraying the bottom with fluid film befor I ran out.

Unfortunately I can't pull the jeep up any further so the trailer looks a little back heavy. Long term I would like to remover the fenders and make them bolt on and off.

That's good to hear! I wasn't familiar with the brand at all but so far it seems like it should work just fine for me.
