Rough idle with 4h auto engaged

Hi,

I noticed this since years ago but still not figure it out yet. Wondering if anyone has experience?

JL2.0, auto transmission.
When I engage 4H auto and stop for a red light( gear in D), it vibrates quite a lot. however, if putting gear in neutral/park, or moving, or putting transfer case in 2H, the vibration is gone.

I’m confused because when vibrating, nothing behind torque converter is moving and it shouldn’t change much when switching between 2H and 4A.
 
Maybe its the clutch pack in the transmission 🤷 I believe it works like the old school viscous couplings in the old school full time 4x4 Jeeps
