Military Surplus Trailers

I am looking at purchasing a surplus trailer in the next year. I am looking at two models, the M101 (smaller of two) and M1101 or M1102.

I have a 4dr JK effectively stock with a rocking minivan engine.

I see no issues with the pulling 101.

Anyone out there have experience with a 1101/1102?

Thanks and links to picks or builds would be awesome.
Mine is the Mango one. Added 32" MTRs on 17 inch rims and plasti dipped them.

You could check the DRMO website to purchase one.

This would be the place to start. I would look in the Alabama area. There is a larger lot in Central Alabama. I live in Jacksonville but I am deployed or I would check there for you.

I have an M101A and it pulls wonderfully with a full load.
steelsoldiers.com is a great site to learn more about military vehicles and you will also often find several for sale.

These trailers are everywhere. Lots of 3 for $400 in Kansas for M101s. And singles from $200 in SC to $400 depending on quality. I can get a 1011 for under $350 if it will tow well behind my JK.

That is what I am really looking for, how well do they tow.
