Snorkel and air filter.

For you snorkeler, did you found that it was best to go with an higher air flow filter with your snorkel or stick with the oem one? I'm asking because when I had my CAI I loved my little whistling sounds my TBS did... Now that I'm with the snorkel it's a little more quieter and I miss it :( I'm such a kid :icon_crazy:

So I guess an oil air filter would boost it up a little more but is it more hazardous under bad weather and with bugs stacking on it would it still be alright?

Thanks !

I have the AEV snorkel and use an oiled high flow filter in the OEM filter box.

I've yet to find a CAI to attach, or that does attach to the snorkel.
No wonderful sounds come from anywhere in the engine.

The sound come from the throttle body spacer with a spinning groove. It's doesn't improve anything, just the whistling for those who like it. :wings:
