33X12.50 on a stock '08 JK Rucicon - will it rub?

Asking for my dad. He wants to step up to 33X12.50 tires but I wasn't sure I they would rub or not. Any other issues he may encounter with that size running it stock? He has the auto trans.

He will need wheel spacers or after market wheels.

That should take care of daily driving. Disco'd and flexing will probably rub the fenders a bit. A simple leveling kit would fix that.

Or cutting the stock fender flares.

What about 33X10.50? Will those have the same issue? I might be able to talk him into a fender trim as that on my list too.

You will need to trim the plastic skid under the front bumper a lil and trim the fenders, also wheel spaces will be good.after that you will be just fine. You really might be able to get away with it without trimming fenders but it will rub pretty bad when you articulate
