I'm gonna be in Colorado Springs area and don't really know the area to well, if been wanting to do the independence trail but I'm up for anything. Plz let me know

There are a handful of local guys one here. When are you looking at going? There are some pretty decent spots around the area for sure.

sept 8th- 13th I'm new to the area. Iv been wanting to do the independence trail for some time but would like to run it with someone has done it befor. But I'm up for anything

If you have an iPhone or an iPad get the PDF Maps app. It's free, then download the pikes peak ranger district MVUM map. It's also free. It will have all the forest roads in the area. Also check out traildamage.com for trail info. I have not run those trails yet, but I am sure other locals have.
