Gear change question?

I want to swap out my 3.73's for a set of 4.88's, will I have to change the shims on my carrier to do this? I have the ability to do the gears if I don't need to play with the shims, I'm just unsure about being able to just swap the gears without changing the shims.

I would definitely only trust this to the pros that do this all the time. Yes shims will always be different.
