From Sahara to monster

I've been a member of the forum for a while and I'm just now getting around to my build thread. I don't have as many pics as id like to of the build along the way so some may have been seen in other threads.
I started out with a brand new black 2012 JKUS. It's my first jeep. I've always wanted to go fast like Ricky bobby but it gets you into to much trouble. So I decided to go off road instead.
I began by getting to know my jeep. What I wanted to do with it and what it was capable of.

This lasted for a few months. Then we went into phase one. This consisted of, stubby the front bumper, synergy coilover setup front and rear with fox shocks, magnaflow exhaust, front anti rock, posion spyder brawler knocker sliders and 285/75/17 toyos on stock wheels. It was a sleeper jeep for sure.

As we went along I added a cb and some misc things like a viair compressor and staun deflators.

I added a poison spyder brawler lite stinger which I bed lined at work.

Next phase I added in fox bump stops and the evo tire carrier.

Well this lead to the "final" phase of my build here. So my stock wheel would not fit on the tire carrier. I knew I wanted slabs. But what's the point of slabs since I wanted 37's? And I couldn't do 37's without re gearing. And I wasn't gonna re gear without adding lockers also. And I wasn't gonna add all that to a Dana 30 axle might as well get a pro rock 44 right?! So....

Needed a compressor for the lockers and to air up those big ass 37's

I am sure there is more. It's been on plenty of trips (rubicon later this year and Moab next). I live in San Diego and I am always willing to hit the trails. It's been a fun/ stressful build and it never ends. I can't say enough not to rush into your build. I bought many things over and would do a lot differently if I could do it again (DTD). I will update more as it comes up.

Beautiful rig! How do you like the PR44's? I was thinking of picking up a front 44 in the future.

Thanks. I only have a PR44 in the front. The rear is just a diff cover on the stock 44. Had to keep it uniform. It has only been on a week so i will update more after this weekend when I break it in. But you can tell the difference in the housing right away.

Looks great Sean!

I am slowly ordering the parts to get mine built up. Hopefully by the end of october I will have everything in and be ready to get out there with you.

Looks awesome dude. Definitely worth taking the time to do it right. Makes me feel not so bad about all this waiting I'm doing.
