What happens to stock tweeters if I add coaxials to the front?

Hi Guys, I have a 2012 JKU, with stock speakers (no subwoofer, no amp) and kenwood x997 HU

question for the front speakers

what happens to the tweeters in the front if I install coaxials? Will they still work? So I'd have 2 tweeters coming from the front soundstage? The reason I am going for this is that I will be installing a rollcage at the same time, and most of them will block the tweeters

Thoughts?

I left mine unhooked when I added the kicker coaxes. The new coaxes sounded better to me than the stock stuff.
I was planning on adding a cage later so I didn't bother with them.
