Clicking?

So when i start my jeep in the mornings it gets this obnoxious clicking sound? Than stays clicking for a while while I drive and gets louder when I press the gas.. Would that be a lifter problem? Or something else? It get annoying listening to it as I drive and in the morning. Anyone else have this problem?

Also plan on changing my coils. Anyone have experience with RE or FT?

Clicking as in, coming from the motor? You hear this when sitting still? Is it a soft "clicking" or more like a "knock"?

Regarding coils, I have run both RE and FT on my TJ and both will do well for you.

I have the same issue and I'm not going to rule out the other possibilities everyone else has mentioned, but I confirmed mine to be a sticky lifter. I also did the Lucas oil stabilizer and it worked for some time, but the little ticking came back. I used some JB oil treatment that kinda thins/cleans out engine and make the oil like water, but it cured the problem for several months. Again the ticking is back so I just need to find time to replace lifters and maybe the rods too.
