U-Joint Help

Hey guys
Im assembling my inner and outer shafts from ten factory but ran into a little issue. After I took the caps off the joints I went to put them through the yokes and they basically didn't fit. I was only able to get 1 end of a joint through the yokes and put the caps back on but the other 3 yoke ends did not clear the joints (see pics). Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same and what you did to fix it or maybe I just have the wrong ujoints or shafts. Any ideas

I had to grind just a touch off my ears to get mine to fit in. It didn't take much at all.

The Joint shaft should have a corner cut off so that it will clear and make its way into the yoke.

Sometimes this is not the case and a tad bit of the ear tip on the yoke needs a bit of a grind to enable it to clear a standard shaft.
