Airbag Dash Light

Does anyone know why this light comes on and off for no apparent reason? And dings every time it does!! It just started happing out of the blue, it comes on and off a lot.

More than likely, you need to have your clock spring replaced.

Thanks, I just looked that part up. Not too cheap, doesn't look hard to change tho. Is their a write up anywhere?

Call Chrysler customer care line. They know there is a problem with the clock spring and may help cover the cost of a new one. They paid for mine and my Jeep was out of warranty.

That's a good idea. Wish I had thought of that a couple of months ago when mine was replaced. Close to $600 at the Dealer :doh:

I called Chrysler and found out I had 10y-100k warranty! So they said they'd fix her! :beer:
