I'd like to introduce myself first as I am new to this forum, but have been lurking for a while. My name is Nick.
As a previous owner of a few xj's and currently own a built up tj. I have drooled over some jks I have seen around here and decided to order my 2014 in the beginning of August.
2014 2 door Rubicon white with saddle interior and auto trans nothing extra on top of that.
My goals were a complete bolt on JK that not only looks amazing but is also has great road manners and awesome offroader capabilities.
For the build..so far (a Jeep is never complete) I have chosen the following for starters
Rock Krawler 3.5" max travel lift
Fox 2.0 Reservoir shocks
37" Toyos
ATX Slabs
Poison Spyder BFH bumpers front and rear

Everything listed should be delivered tomorrow and the build will begin in the afternoon.
I will begin adding pictures and documentation as the build proceeds.
Stay tuned!

Parts came in today 10/14 Started with putting together the Toyos and Slabs. Pretty straight forward assembly and was easy for a first timer like myself.
I used ceramic balancing beads, hopefully these work well. Using these are also a first for me.

Well, I got a little cleaning in the garage done tonight. Its a slow process right now as I need to tend to my girl while shes recovering from an ac joint surgery.
I unboxed all of the Rock Krawler 3.5 Max travel kit, the ProCal and Coast drive shaft. Wow is this Rock Krawler stuff is beefy! Its super heavy due to its solid stock design. I couldnt imagine ever damaging one of these components. Snapped a few pictures

Got some work done this weekend. Rock Krawler suspension installed. Including brake lines and Coast drive shaft. Bumpers have been removed, started cutting frame and Poison Spyder BFH bumpers prepped and ready go install.
Here's a few shots from this weekend.

Yeah, I started to use it the last few posts. The first couple sets of pictures were from my digital camera and loaded from my laptop. I didn't realise how easy it was to upload from my phone.

Lift is complete. Just need to weld track bar brackets and install the rear BFH bumper. I painted the grill a matte black matching the bumpers. I also trimmed the fenders. Due to nerve damage in my hands it unfortunately looks like I hired Micheal J Fox to cut them. Hopefully the trim makes it look better. I do plan on getting some better flares but I'm not allowed to put any more money into the jk right now at least till and if the tj sells.
I'll post up more pictures tonight.
