Winch with 200 feet of cable

I am working on a project at work and need a 8000lb or larger winch that has at least 200 ft of cable or synthetic rope. Anyone have any ideas. I could not find one the closest was 150 foot on a warn 8274. Any one know how much synthetic it could hold. A fast line speed is also important.

The 8274 is the only one that I've ever heard about being fast with lots of line capacity.. One thing to look at is the line speed under load... They are really fast with no load, but most of them slow wayyyy down under load

Does it have to be electric? Maybe what they use for crabbing would work?

Doesn't have to be electric but it would be easier. It won't be under load it's more of a safety line for a self propelled cart to go up and down a paved slope. We just need something to stop it in case of mechanical failure.

I'd say give this company a call www.fishertechnical.com Their based in Vegas.

They'll pretty much make anything you want, and their products are made for human load. Which requires a 10:1 safety factor in rigging, (also required by your insurance company)
