I can see the Jeep posted has Cali. plates. He must trailer the Jeep in fear of getting a ticket because of lack of tire coverage from fenders . Some thing you may want to consider before you go this route . I would check out your state laws before doing this . Just my 2 cents.

As OverlanderJK said, that is EVO1 in that photo a long time ago. Be aware that this flare is considered EVO mfg's "Outlaw Flare" or the "Builder Flare" and could be very illegal in your state. I run them, but I live in Arizona and its allowed. Plus we really don't have any kind of bad weather here, but if we did it would certainly make for an exceptionally dirty jeep since there is nothing to keep road grime from being slung. I have driven in really bad rain and the lack of tire coverage allows super high rooster tails to come off the tires ;) Below are a few more photos that how the flares and how EVO1 has progressed though the years.

Edit: they are 3/16th thick

Do they still make the skins like that? I love the look!

Pretty sure the builder flares are no longer produced or are special order production. Those are just the corner skins.

Jerms after doing a lot of research for myself I have found the EVO corner armor is the best deal. I have looked at Metalcloak, OR Fab, Poison Spyder, and Smittybuilt. For what I am looking for EVO allows to still run the factory or after market fender flares. OR Fab is my second choice, just not sure about the oval lights. Metalcloak works with their flares. Poison Spyder is just too expensive. SmittyBuilt is just not the style I am looking for.
