Central California Trails Opening 2012

It is my pleasure to announce the following trails have been opened to the public by the USFS as of 6-9-12
If your in the Central California Area (Fresno) or you have plans to travel this way, please check out these trails, and let me know. I may join you.:thumb:

Coyote Lake Trail (open)
Red Lake Trail (open
Strawberry Lake Trail (open)
West Lake Trail (open)
Brewer Lake Trail (open)
Spanish Route (open)
Mirror Lake (open)
Swamp Lake Trail (open)

A big thank-you goes out to the 4-Wheel Drive Club of Fresno for maintaining these trails and prepping them for public use.
I will update this thread when more of our local trails open up for the summer.

That's awesome!! Don't know if we'll have any time to head up before August but I sure would love to go this year.

Glad to hear Iv been wanting to run the coyote lake trail but probably not this year since my jeeps not ready... :grayno:

Just got word that Spanish Route is now open for public use.
Also a crew will be going in soon to clear Swamp of 9 fallen trees, and minor things to repair.
Scheduled open day For Swamp is Sunday July 1st.
