Soft Top sizes, JK 4-DR

I have a question regarding the soft top sizing. Specifically, Will a soft top from a 2007 JK 4-DR fit newer year models? From what I have seen on aftermarket tops they advertise 2007-2014, but my dealership told me that the 2007 would not fit. The reason I am asking is I have a new 2007 soft top and my new Rubi came with the dual tops.

i am 90% sure that they are different. 07-10 was the same then it changed in '11 if im not mistaken.

Okay thank you, I was wondering as now will need to sell the 2007 top as I have no need for it.

The only difference in the soft tops is that in 2010 they switched to a cable top. There is a cable that holds tension on the edges of the top over the doors. Previous years had flaps similar to the widows that tucked under a rail. As long as you have the matching hardware for the top it will fit any year. New for 2013 you also have the premium fabric which is the black twill that bestop offers but I believe the hardware is still the same.
