My gig problem

I have a 2011 jeep jk wrangler rubi. It came with the my gig. I have since put what California Customs call, "Nav TV" in it. It can also be known as the lock pick set up. I have just came across the problem where I can't use the Navigation part any more. Every time I have tried to put it up the screen goes black. I did try to disconnect the Nav tv and still does the same thing. To watch DVDs still works like it is suppose to. It's just the navigation part does not work any more. Does any one have any ideas what it is or suggestions what can fix it? I have not updated the maps yet since I bought it . Was planning it after the first of the year.
