What is the max size of tire that the door mounted tire carrier handle?

As far as diameter, I think it might be 33". I had the adaptor for a while that allowed a 35" tire. The biggest problem is weight. Easy to break the welds on the stock tailgate. I kept my 35 on there till I got my beadlocks. Then I took it off.

Ok, guess I'll wait and buy an LoD rear bumper & tire carrier instead of buying just the LoD bumper. Thanks guys!

Teraflex also makes a nice stand alone tire carrier for up to 40s, looks factory to

And its like $700 for just the carrier and additional bracket that allow it to carry the larger tire...

Most people I know around here a 33 is max for the stock carrier. Just my 2 cents
