First, is it common for my hardtop to creak and make lots of noises when driving partly due to ice? My old jeep had a soft top and I never had that problem. I can see it be probable and I'm not complaining by any means just wondering. FYI, I haven't had the top off yet.
Second, most vehicles melt all the ice off the hood after driving around because the engine heats up but mine isn't seeming to achieve that. Here's a picture after about 4 hrs of run time throughout the day. Wondered if this could potentially damage my paint overtime.
