So Northern has a Superwinch TS 9500 winch for $349.99 is it worth it for a 2-door and very light use????

I would say super winch is better than smittybuilt, but not quite a warn or Ramsey. They have been around for a long time, but I haven't ever got to work with one. 9500 is overkill for your 2 door, so I'd say do it! Have you done some winch homework? Do you know if that's a good price?

May i suggest Quadratec's q9000 as well. once again its no warn but still a very good winch for the money. i run one and love it for the few times i have used it.

but a side note, 9500 is more than enough for a 2 door so you will be fine. i think Eddie once said to take the weight of your jeep and double it. whatever that number is is how big your winch should be.

I have the Superwinch 12.5 with syn line and it's a great winch - I wouldn't have even considered a Smittybuilt, I would go with Harbor Freight before buying anything Smitty.
