Jeep jamboree cb question

I just purchased a2014 jku and registered for the penns woods jamboree. They require a cb. I am new to this and was wondering if my cobra handheld radios would meet the requirement? I know we pick up truckers with them on our road trips with them. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks in advance.

I think a handheld would work fine. You could contact the Jamboree people to find out for sure.

You will be fine with the handheld...As long as you can communicate and the signal is strong enough

The handheld will be fine, just make sure that it is turned up. The lines are typically not super long, but it is useful with the guides for wheel placements and train breaks.

A trucker could probably chime in here, but...

AFAIK, truckers use Commercial VHF, not CB.

Are these FRS/GRMS radios?
