I have a 10JKUR auto how can I find the gear ratio ? without pulling the cover ?

if it is a stock rubicon it came with either 3.73 or 4.10's. If you have stock size tires it is easy to tell by what rpms you are turning at say 70mph.

My understanding was all rubicons came standard with 4:10's until 2012

I have a 2010 JKU auto - Rubicon's came stock with 4.10

if you want, it is possible to lift a tire off the ground, mark the shaft with a paint pen, have someone turn the tire one complete revolution while you are counting the times the drive shaft turns around. with common gearsets like 4.10 3.73 or 3.21 it will be easy to determine.

Its crude, but it will work.
