Baker creek

Spent the weekend up in Baker Creek. As usual the place is amazing. It was my sons first trip in his JK. We had an amazing time. There wasn't any wheelin done other that just getting to the camp spot. At one point on our way up the mountain, my son was leading. He slammed on the brakes, jumps out and runs over to me. I get out and before I can say anything......he says.......... I love you dad. And now I am out exploring places in my own jeep. It was the best point of the trip for me. I never gave any thought to how what we did with our kids would affect them. Or even if they appreciated the trips, the places my wife and I kept taking them to. Being new to the Jeep wayalife, it has been an eye opener. No matter how short, or how great a trip. My son is proof that sharing time and exploring places and things with our kids, does stick to them. It's a great day to be a parent folks. Oh. And I also have a daughter that's wants a jeep. 16 and she has a list a mile long for how and what she wants on hers. Boy is it going to be expensive. but if she reacts the way our son did, it will be money well spent.
