Grounding my tire carrier cb antenna

I have a teraflex tire carrier cb antenna mount I was told I need to run a ground strap to the body but I have no idea how or what cable or anything please help

Just a piece of wire from the mount to the tub. Don't overthink it. Same as a ground on a light.

Use a 12ga wire - make sure you have a bare metal to ground to, I'd run it back in with the tailgate wires to the inner tub for a clean look.
