Cut fenders and wheel wells

I bought a 07 wrangler X with 35" tires and the fenders and the wheel wells were cut for clearance. However the guy didn't do a very good job of it. The wheel wells (whats left of them) in the front are cut so that they are only held on from the front side. With these being cut, it allows for mud and other stuff straight into the engine compartment. and on the back the wheel wells were removed completely. I'd like to get something that works with the tires but doesn't have everything exposed. I don't want it to be rusted out in a few years. When he did the fenders some of his cuts aren't straight and little stuff like that. What are some good options for aftermarket parts that don't conflict with the tires.

post up some pictures. you might be able to save the flares. Also the pictures will be able to help determine just what we are working with and will allow for better advice.

When you say cutting the wheel wells do you mean the plastic inner fenders?
